The MAC Facilitator Mentoring Program Hello everyone! Here is the latest news on the Facilitator Mentoring Program of the MidAtlantic Chapter of Cohousing USA. Purpose: To mentor a cadre of facilitators to be skillful in handling difficult group situations, to be able to facilitate each other's groups as needed, and to teach others dynamic facilitation skills. An important part of this program is the opportunity for one-on-one work between each student and a mentor/trainer during the weekends and in between as needed. Next weekend: June 23rd to 26th, 2005 at Eastern Village , Silver Spring, MD. Costs: $300
for individuals from communities that are members of MAC, $350 for non-members.
Auditors pay half price ($150 for MAC, $175 for non-MAC). Auditing is
free for members of the host community. Add $50 to all costs if registering
after June 1st. Registration: Fill out this form and mail it in with a check. Auditors: Auditors are expected to attend all weekend sessions. They will participate in discussion and evaluation. Auditors will not facilitate groups, nor will they receive individual mentoring from Laird. If not enough beds are available at the host community, auditors will be asked to find their own accommodations. Schedule: Eight 3-4 day weekends every 3 months over a two year period. 1.
