Catoctin Creek Village is a planned community in the building phase. The property is intentionally being developed to conserve open spaces, protect natural bodies of water, and to preserve views of rolling hills, mountains, and open sky.
There are currently 6
completed homes onsite, with 1 more about to begin construction. When completed, the neighborhood will include 18 custom single family homes set on individual lots surrounded by a breathtaking preserve of 115 acres.
Catoctin Creek Village is a community inspired by the cohousing model — a village specifically designed to foster a small town sense of community. The legal structure is a home owners’ association [HOA]. The HOA maintains 115 acres of woods and meadows, a mile of secluded Catoctin Creek frontage, a small lake, a big barn, and the existing “common house”. The common house is a restored 200 year old farm house used as a center for community gatherings, meetings, parties and pot-lucks. It includes a children’s play room, a library, a large kitchen, dining room and plenty of space for future guests rooms or shared offices. |
